I want you to know that I really admire you. I think you're a fantastic person and a great role model. I really wish I knew you better before asking this favor of you. I feel doubly guilty because im not sure if I believe or not. But my best friends grandmother started chemo yesterday breast cancer and I was going to ask if maybe you'd pray for her. Thank you.

Thank you very much, it means a lot. And of course! I will post this so others can pray too, but if you decide you want me to delete the post please tell me so I can! Also, many people have doubts. We are so used to knowing everything by sight and to everyone knows how to recognize the works of God. Do you know if your friend or their grandmother is a believer? If so, I would suggest them or you reading psalms 91 to her, it’s for protection and I even read it to my own grandfather while he was on life support.. You can also check my url/healing if you like. It’s just a bit of what I’ve learned and it’s useful to me. Also, I will pray for you and your faith. I hope the best for your friend, her grandmother, and their family. I will be praying for comfort and healing.

“Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me.’” —Hebrews 13:5-6 (via iammeanttolive)

i want a penpal from a faraway place.

facelikeflint:

I’d love to get to know someone through their handwriting, the way they choose their words and how they construct their sentences. Is that too weird in our instant world?

It’s a bit of a big dream to think that people would take time out for each other, strangers even, but would it be worth it to carefully compose, stamp and send a piece of themselves in the hope that they’d get to know this distant person? I’d like to think so…
