Please pray for my brother’s teacher Mrs. Jeffers. She has been ill and needs urgent healing. I know God can heal her, please stand in agreement with me that she will be healed.
Also, my friend has been three days clean of pills for the first time in years. He is having withdraws. Please pray for strength and encouragement and please pray that the sprit of addiction leaves him. Thank you.
Edit: She has lost her vision and needs another brain surgery. Please pray.
“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.”—1 Peter 2:21-23 (via whiteflagxp)
I have been crying a lot today. Spontaneously. The Lord has been challenging me, as He always does, to live the crucified life. But in the past few weeks, the invitation has been most potent. And I have been saying, “Oh, but Lord, surely you do not require surrender on this and that! Surely you…
Dad just openly rejected Christ to my face. After spitting in God’s face, he informed me he was going on a hike, hopped in his cruiser, and left. I know the Lord is so filled with mercy and patience and love. But I somehow always fear for a man’s safety when he adamantly rejects God with a hardened heart.
Keep his safety on the road and on his hike in prayer. His time is running out.
On April 25 one of my family friends took his life. I know that Garrett is in heaven and that He impacted so many people in his 16 years. I will never forget his big brown eyes, or his ear to ear smile. He is missed by so many, and we all love him so much.
Please pray for his family and his friends. It has been a rough week for each of us, but nothing can separate us from the love of our God.
She calls me from the cold Just when I was low, feeling short of stable And all that she intends And all she keeps inside, isn’t on the label She says she’s ashamed And can she take me for awhile? And can I be a friend, we’ll forget the past But maybe I’m not able And I break at the bend.
